to places far and near.
Let me show you all the sweetness,
This world holds so dear.
I feel as though I’ve failed you,
But yet I still might try.
To guard your hearts through lifetimes,
And teach you how to fly.”
Inspired by the emotions of motherhood. The devotion, the fierce protection and the deep unconditional love that often exists beyond words.
The poem is a reflection of this role. A mother’s vow to guide her children, to show them the sweetness of the world and to protect their hearts and help them discover their wings. It is both an expression of tenderness and an acknowledgment of the vulnerability and self doubt that can live within a mother’s love.
